Men's Indoor Track Results - Final Day Of Competition

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Providence College men's indoor track team competed at the the BIG EAST Championships in Syracuse, N.Y. on February 16-17. On Sunday, the final day of competition, four Friar runners participated in three different events.

Freshman Liam Reale (Hospital, Ireland) finished seventh in the mile run and qualified for the IC4A Championship, with a time of 4:12.44. In the 1,000-meter run, senior Hamish Thorpe (Auckland, New Zealand) finished third and qualified for the IC4A Championship, in a time of 2:26.23. And in the 3,000-meter run, freshman Dylan Wykes (Kingston, Ontario) qualified for the IC4A Championship, with a seventh-place finish (8:17.58). Freshman Patrick Guidera (Clonmel, Ireland) finished 15th (8:38.33).
