EUGENE, Ore. -- Providence College senior Keith Kelly (Drogheda, Ireland) placed seventh in the 10,000 meters in a time of 29:51 at the NCAA Outdoor Track Championship on Wednesday, May 30 in Eugene, Ore. Also in the 10,000, Providence sophomore Adam Sutton (Preston, England) finished 11th in a time of 30:02.59.

Kelly, who was running in his final collegiate race, earned his fifth All-America honor with his seventh-place finish. It marked the third All-America accolade he has earned this year.

On the women's side, sophomore Roisin McGettigan (Wicklow, Ireland) finished 17th (10:54.37) in the preliminaries of the 3,000 meter steeplechase. The top 12 finishers advance to the finals on June 1.

On June 1, PC will concluded its 2001 outdoor track season at the NCAA Championship as Paul Reilly will run the 5,000 meters at 11:00 p.m. EST and Brooke Freeburg will compete in the javelin at 9:00 p.m. EST.
