PENN RELAYS, Philadelphia, Pa. - April 25, 2002

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- Providence College freshman Pat Guidera (Clonmel, Ireland) and freshman Pat Moulton (Pelham, N.H.) each qualified for the IC4A Championships on the first day of competition at the prestigious Penn Relays in Philadelphia, Pa. on Thursday, April 25.

Guidera placed seventh (9:06.67) in the 3,000 meter steeplechase. Moulton placed eighth in the 5,000 meter college division in a time of 14:33.30.

Junior Tyler McCabe (Mystic, Conn.) also competed in the 5,000 meter college division. McCabe placed 18th in a time of 14:38.56 and qualified for the BIG EAST Championship.
