PROVIDENCE COLLEGE MEN'S TRACK at Mt. Sac Relays - Walntut, Calif. - April 20-22, 2001

WALNUT, Calif. -- The Providence College men's track team competed at the prestigious Mt. Sac Relays in Walnut, Calif. on April 20-22.

Senior Keith Kelly (Drogheda, Ireland) was the top Friar finisher, placing second in the 10,000 meters (28:32.55). With his time of 28:32.55, Kelly qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Track Championship. Sophomore Adam Sutton (Preston, England) also ran the 10,000 meters and placed 11th in a time of 29:10.98. Sutton also qualified for the NCAA Championship.

Junior Hamish Thorpe (Auckland, New Zealand) placed 23rd in the 5,000 meters and qualified for the NCAA Championship with a time of 14:03.21.
