Men's Track Places Fourth At UConn Invitational

STORRS, Conn. -- The Providence College men's track team scored 38 points and finished fourth at the University of Connecticut Invitational at Storrs, Conn., on Saturday, April 6.

Junior Tyler McCabe (Mystic, Conn.) and freshman Patrick Guidera (Clonmel, Ireland) led the Friars. McCabe captured the 5,000 meters in a time of 14:39.13 and Guidera won the 3,000-meter steeplechase (9:25.49). Freshman Patrick Moulton (Pelham, N.H.) also ran a strong race for PC, finishing third in the 5,000 meters a time of 14:43.13. All three runners qualified for the Big East Championship.
