Men's Track Runs at IC4A Indoor Championship

IC4A Indoor Championship at Harvard Univ., Cambridge, Mass. - March 4-5, 2000

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Providence College men's track team competed at the IC4A Indoor Track Championship at Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass. on March 4-5.

Senior Keith Kelly (Drogheda, Ireland) captured his first IC4A Indoor title when he won the 5,000 meters in a time of 13:57.78. With his time Kelly qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championship on March 10-11 at Fayetteville, Ark.

The Friars also got a strong performance from sophomore Hamish Thorpe (Auckland, New Zealand) who finished fourth in the mile in a time of 4:08.64.
