BOSTON, Mass. -- The Providence College men's track team competed at the Valentine Invitational at Boston University in Boston, Mass. on Saturday, February 10.

The Friars were led by senior Keith Kelly (Drogheda, Ireland). Kelly captured the 5,000 meters in a time of 13:54.09.

Junior Hamish Thorpe (Aukland, New Zealand) and senior Larry Morrissey each ran a strong race in the mile. Thorpe placed third (4:07.44) and Morrissey was sixth (4:10.27).
