Men's Track Results From Terrier Classic on Jan. 29
Terrier Classic at BU, Boston, Mass. - Jan. 29, 2000 PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The Providence College men's track team competed at the Terrier Classic at Boston University in Boston, Mass. on Saturday, January 29. The Friars were led by senior Keith Kelly (Drogheda, Ireland), who finished 11th in the 5,000 meters (14:09.44) and qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championship. PC's other top finisher was freshman Chris Livesey (Preston, England). Livesey placed sixth in the mile in a time of 4:07.40. In the 3,000 meters, sophomore Dermot Galvin (Kilrush, Ireland), sophomore Paul Reilly (Loughrea, Ireland) and freshman Adam Sutton (Preston, England) all ran a strong race. Galvin placed 17th (8:13.93), Reilly was 22nd (8:23.31) and Sutton finished 24th (8:24.59) in the 3,000. The Friars return to action on February 12 at the Valentine Invitational at Boston University.
