Yale Invitational, New Haven, Conn. - January 13, 2001

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The Providence College men's track team competed at the Yale Invitational at Yale University in New Haven Conn. on Saturday, January 13.

The Friars were led by sophomore Adam Sutton (Preston, England) and sophomore Tim Curran (Northboro, Mass.). Sutton placed second in the mile in a time of 4:14.71 and Curran finished second in the 3,000 meters (8:46.12).

PC's distance medley relay team of senior Larry Morrissey (Waterford, Ireland), senior Kevin Cashman (Westwood, Mass.), sophomore Chris Livesey (Preston, England) and junior Paul Reilly (Loughrea, Ireland) captured the distance medley relay in a time of 10:03.74.

The Friars will return to action on Friday, January 19 at the New England Challenge at Boston University.
