Swimmers Fall at Boston College, 134.50 -108.50

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College men's swim team was defeated by Boston College in Chestnut Hill, MA, 134.50-108.50. Senior Steven Brown (Sacramento, CA) and junior Jed Michnowicz (Santa Clara, CA) each took three first place honors for the Friars.

Michnowicz won the 100 meter free with a time of 53.67 and also took the 200 free (1:59.41) and the 800 free (8:58.11). Brown won the 200 fly with a time of 2:18.35 and also won the 200 IM (2:15.02) and 400 Free (4:23.80). Senior Kurt Yates (Cincinnati, OH) won the 200 breast (2:32.10) and also finished second in the 50 free (25.52) an fourth in the 200 back (2:23.84).

The Friars will travel to Georgetown on Saturday, November 22.
