Men's And Women's Swimming And Diving Finish Second At the Harold Anderson Invitational

The Providence men's and women's swimming and diving teams placed second at the Harold Anderson Invitaional at U.R.I. on Dec. 3-4.

Leading the way on the men's side was senior Kevin Reeder's (Southbury, Conn.) double victory in the 100-meter butterfly (54:48) and the 200-meter IM (2:03:61). John Woychick (Stroudsburg, Pa.) and Tom Darrow (Cranston, R.I.) captured victories in the 100-meter backstroke (57:05) and the 200-meter backstroke (2:05:15), respectively.

On the women's side Lauren DeGray (Wethersfield, Conn.) captured the 1,000-meter freestyle (10:55:65) and the 500-meter freestyle (5:19:78). Senior Meghan Robinson (Plano, Texas) finished first in the 200-meter backstroke with a time of 2:14:06.

Both team will return to action on January 15, versus George Washington, at St. Croix
