PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The men's and women's swimming and diving team split a meet with Stony Brook. The Providence women defeated Stony Brook, 133-110, while the PC men were defeated, 134-90 on Saturday, November 10 at PC's Taylor Natatorium.

The men got individual event wins from senior Mike Maloney (Plainville, Mass.), who won the one meter diving, compiling a total of 74.90 points, sophomore Bryan Flynn (Middletown, R.I.), who won the 100 meter backstroke in 1:04.52 and sophomore Patrick Franzen (Taftsville, Vt.), who won the 100 meter breaststroke in 1:14.77.

Both the men's and women's teams return to action on Saturday, November 17 at Holy Cross.
