PROVIDENCE, R.I. - - Providence College men's soccer senior defender Justin Kahle (Oceanport, N.J.) was named to the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team on Sunday, November 15 in Morgantown, W.Va.

Kahle helped Providence reach the BIG EAST Semfinals as the Friars yielded just three goals in three matches. Providence posted a 2-1 win at Villanova in the first round on November 4 and then recorded a 1-0 overtime victory at No. 8 Connecticut on November 8 in the quarterfinals. The Friars were then defeated by St. John's, 2-0, on November 13 in Morgantown, W.Va. St. John's went on to claim the title on November 15 against Notre Dame in a penalty kick shootout after a scoreless double overtime draw.

Providence (10-7-3) will wait until Monday, November 16 to see if it receives an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.
