PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Providence College men's soccer forward Timothy Ritter (Weston, Mass.) was named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week on Monday, November 2.

Ritter led Providence to a pair of overtime victories last week. On Wednesday, October 28, the senior scored 2:31 into overtime as Providence defeated West Virginia, 1-0, in Morgantown, W. Va. On Saturday, October 31, Ritter struck again as he converted on a header at the 2:51 mark of overtime to give the Friars a 2-1 victory at Georgetown.

The Friars (8-6-3, 5-4-2 BIG EAST) finished in the fifth place of the BIG EAST Blue Division. They will travel to face the No. 4 seed from the Red Division, Villanova on Wednesday, November 4 at 1:00 p.m. in the BIG EAST Championship First Round.
