MEN'S SOCCER vs. GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY AT PROVIDENCE COLLEGE

Saturday, September 30 - 2:00 p.m. at Glay Field

Georgetown University (4-2-1) - After opening the season with four consecutive victories, Georgetown is winless in its last three games ... The Hoyas have registered a 1-1-1 mark in BIG EAST play this season ... Georgetown has posted a 6-4-1 mark all-time against Providence ... The Hoyas most recent win at Glay Field was a 4-3 victory in 1997 ... Junior Kenny Owens (Washington, D.C.) leads the offense with 10 points (five goals) in seven games. Sophomore goalkeeper Brian O'Hagan (St. Louis, Mo.) has played in six games this season, posting a 3-2-1 mark, a .80 goals against average and an .857 save percentage.

Providence College (1-6-1) - Providence enters Saturday's contest with the Hoyas looking to end its four-game winless streak. Last week, the Friars tied Villanova (2-2) and were defeated by Rutgers (3-0) ... Saturday's game will mark the team's sixth consecutive BIG EAST contest ... Last season, the Friars defeated Georgetown, 3-1, at Washington, D.C. The Friars have won the last two regular-season meetings between the two teams ... Senior Kevin Jones (Westford, Mass.) leads the team in scoring with four points (two goals). Junior goalkeeper Danny Glynn (Manchester, England) has played in all seven games for the Friars. Glynn has posted a a 1.96 goals against average and a .712 save percentage.
