New England Revolution Set To Host 2017 U.S. Open Cup At Providence College

PROVIDENCE, RI. – The New England Revolution will host its Fourth Round match in the 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup at Providence College’s Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium on June 14 at 7:30 p.m. The Revolution will play the winner of the Third Round match between the Rochester Rhinos (USL) and GPS Omens (BSSL).

This will be the first time the Revolution will play at Providence College’s Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium. The Revolution hosted a previous match in the City of Providence, when they played their Fifth Round match of the 2014 U.S. Open Cup at Stevenson-Pincince Field at Brown University.

“The Open Cup tournament is always a great opportunity for players and fans alike,” New England Revolution President Brian Bilello said. “We look forward to having a strong home field advantage in Providence.”

Tickets for the U.S. Open Cup Fourth Round match start at $12 and are on sale to the public at Revolutionsoccer.net. This event is being sold exclusively through Revolutionsoccer.net and fans will not be able to purchase tickets at the Gillette Stadium box office.
