Providence College men’s soccer Head Coach Craig Stewart released the team’s 2013 spring schedule, which includes five games against regional opponents and then culminates with an Alumni game.

The Friars’ spring slate kicks off with a 6:30 p.m. game at Northeastern on Wednesday, April 3. This past season, the Huskies edged the Friars in overtime on August 24, 2-1. Next up, Providence will play Atlantic Coast Conference foe Boston College at 5:00 p.m. on April 12.

On April 19, the Friars play their first home game of the spring, welcoming intra-state rival Bryant to campus with a 4:30 p.m. game. This past season, Providence bested Bryant in the opening round of the 2012 Ocean State Classic, 1-0, when Wilder Arboleda (Pawtucket, R.I.) scored on a header off a Thomas Ballenthin (Lexington, Mass.) cross with 53 seconds to play in double overtime.

On April 22, the Friars play their last road game of the spring with a 7:00 p.m. game at Holy Cross. Rounding out the spring schedule, the Friars will take on city rival Brown at home at 5:00 p.m. on April 25.

Two days later, Providence concludes its spring season with an Alumni game at 3:00 p.m. on April 27.
