Men's Soccer Announces Spring Schedule

    PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Providence College men's soccer Head Coach Craig Stewart announced the program's spring schedule on Wednesday, March 19. The Friars will play in friendlies against five northeast opponents.

    Providence will open its spring slate on Thursday, March 20 when the Friars host Northeastern in a 7:00 p.m. night cap at the turf field located at Ray Treacy Track in Providence, R.I. On Thursday, March 27 the Friars will travel to Hartford, Conn. for a 7:30 p.m. game against Hartford.

    In April the Friars will host Bryant University (4/3) and Holy Cross (4/10) at 7:00 p.m. on the turf field located at Ray Treacy Track before closing spring competition at Boston College (4/15).

    The Friar soccer program will wrap up its season with its annual alumni game that will take place on Saturday, April 26 at 4:00 p.m.

    Providence concluded its 2013 slate with an overall record 12-6-4 (6-3 BIG EAST). The Friars played for the BIG EAST Tournament Championship and made a run to the NCAA Championship second round in its second season under the direction of Stewart.
