PROVIDENCE, R.I. -
On Saturday, September 29, more than 40 alumni returned to campus to compete against the 2012-2013 Friars in the annual Alumni Game.
Alumni from every era of the program were represented in the game and although the current Friars ran away with a victory, it was a tremendous day for the alumni and the program moving forward. "In my short time at Providence College, I have had the opportunity to meet so many of our alumni and it was great to see so many former Friars return to campus this weekend. We have high expectations for this program and with the support of our alumni, there is no doubt that we have the support we need to take Friar lacrosse to the next level," said Head Coach Chris Gabrielli.
Following the alumni game, more than 100 alumni, parents and fans gathered in McPhail's for a meet and greet with Coach Gabrielli and Assistant Coaches, Brett Holm and John Galloway.
This Sunday the Friars are back in action at the Catamount Classic at Thayer Academy. The Friars will face Quinnipiac at 8 a.m., and Hartford at 10 a.m. --GO FRIARS--
