PROVIDENCE, R.I. -
The New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association announced on Friday (May 23) the selections for the 2014 East-West Senior All-Star Game, to be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 30 at Springfield College. Senior Robby Stack (Medfield, Mass.) will represent the Friars on the East team, playing midfield.
Stack has played the last four seasons with the Friars and recently notched the game-winning goal in Providence’s final game of the season, an 11-10 victory at Villanova (April 26). Stack netted the game winner with 50 seconds remaining in overtime, giving the Friars the win.
The East-West game is an annual tradition that gives exceptional graduating seniors a chance to represent their institutions on the lacrosse field one final time. The All-Star teams are made up of 25-man rosters across all divisions of New England lacrosse. The game will conclude with a barbecue for the players and their families, to begin at 6:45 p.m.
