Devin McBride Selected To Compete In 67th Annual USILA North/South Senior All-Star Game

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Providence College men's lacrosse player Devin McBride (Marblehead, Mass.) has been selected to play in the 67th Annual USILA North/South Senior All-Star Game on May 23. McBride will participate in the Division I-II game, slated for 4:00 p.m. on May 23 at Harvard Stadium in Cambridge, Mass. The game will be part of a triple-header. The Division III North/South Senior All-Star Game opens the day of competition at 2:00 p.m. The day will commence with a 7:00 p.m. game between the Boston Cannons and the Rochester Rattlers of MLL (Major League Lacrosse). McBride will compete on the Division I-II North Team and will be coached by Eric Fekete (Quinnipiac) and Joe Breschi (Ohio State). The roster is comprised of 27 players - 24 from NCAA Division I and three who competed at the NCAA Division II level. McBride recently completed a stand-out career with the Providence College men's lacrosse program. During his four-year tenure, he played in 62 games and tallied 74 career points on 55 goals and 19 assists. He also picked up 57 groundballs. During his final season in 2008, McBride finished tied for fourth among his teammates in scoring with 23 points on 14 goals and nine assists. He helped guide the Friars to two NCAA Tournament appearances (2006, 2007), three Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Regular-Season titles (2005, 2006, 2008) and two MAAC Tournament Championships (2006, 2007). McBride is the fourth Friar in program history to be named to a USILA North/South Senior All-Star roster. He joins former Friars Tim Connelly (2003), Brian O'Rorke (2004) and Peter Littell (2007).
