POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - Junior defenseman Brian O'Rorke (Montclair, N.J.) of the Providence College men's lacrosse team was named to the 2003 MAAC Championship All-Tournament Team at the conclusion of the MAAC Championship Final on Sunday, May 4, 2003, in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

Mount St. Mary's goaltender Dave Lambour was named the Tournament's Most Valuable Player after recording 13 saves in the net to win the MAAC Championship game and earn the league's automatic bid to the 2003 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship.

Joining O'Rorke on the All-Tournament Team were Harry Mendez, Matt Prior, Ian Cassidy, Josh Warfield and Matt Warner of Mount St. Mary's. Chris Spay and Alex Heindenberger from St. Joseph's and Mark Miyashita from Canisius.

Providence was eliminated from MAAC Tournament play with a 12-11 overtime loss to St. Joseph's in the semifinals on Friday, May 2. The Friars conclude their season with a 7-9 overall record.
