Junior Defenseman Ryan Riedl Looks To Lead The Friars Into The MAAC Title Game

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -

MAAC Semifinals Game Notes Get Acrobat Reader

The Providence College men's lacrosse team (6-9, 5-3) heads to Buffalo, N.Y. on Friday, May 1 for a 1:30 p.m. rematch with Siena College (10-5, 8-0) in the semifinals of the MAAC Tournament, hosted by Canisius College. PC enters the tournament as the No. 4 seed, while Siena is the No. 1 seed. The two teams met less than a week ago, with Siena earning the 8-5 win on Saturday, April 25 in Providence.

The winner of the game will move on to the MAAC Championship Game at Noon on Sunday, May 3 to face the winner of No. 2 Mt. St. Mary's versus No. 3 Manhattan. The winner of the title game will earn the MAAC's automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.
