    BALTIMORE, Md. - Providence College assistant lacrosse coach John Galloway was one of three goalies named to the Team USA men's lacrosse roster. On Wednesday, Feb. 5 Team USA announced its 30-man roster that will compete at the 2014 FIL World Championship (Denver, Colo.).

    The Team USA tryout consisted of 98 players and a seven month selection process. The final roster was selected from a 51-man training roster that was formulated upon the completion of the Champion Challenge held in Orlando, Fla. (Jan. 26).

    Team USA will commence training camp in Connecticut on June 22. Upon the completion of the camp Team USA will play against a squad of MLL All-Stars in the MLL All-Star Game on June 26 at Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass. The team's second training camp will take place from July 6-9 at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo.

    The 30-man roster will be narrowed down to 23 players prior to the start of the 2014 FIL World Championship. Team USA will begin their quest for their second consecutive World Championship on July 10 in Denver, Colo.
