Providence, R.I. -- The Providence men's lacrosse team lost to Hofstra, 12-8, on Saturday afternoon on Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium.

4th Quarter: Hofstra pulled away early in the final frame with McIntosh completing the hat trick before scoring his fourth goal of the day to increase their lead up to four goals. Nick Preston tried to keep the Friars afloat with his first goal of the season, but Dominic Pryor finished a feed from Alex Moeser to put Hofstra up 12-8 and seal the outcome.

Game Notes: The two goals for Hatzipetrakos give him 16 goals for the season, which leads the Friars. Yanes and McIntosh combined for seven goals and three assists for Hofstra.
