On Friday, Aug. 16, 2013, the Providence College men’s ice hockey program held its annual Hockey Golf Reunion sponsored by Shawmut Design & Construction at Pawtucket Country Club in Pawtucket, R.I. The event had over 115 golfers, consisting of alumni, parents and fans of the program. It was a record setting day with $50,000 raised for the program.
Providence College men’s ice hockey would like to thank title sponsor Shawmut Design & Construction for their support. In addition, a big thank you to all our sponsors: Bob Gorman ’78, Chris Reilly ’84, Matt Gaffney ’91, Coca-Cola & Gasbarro Wines for providing the beverages as well as QML-Dennis Smith ’74 for sponsoring the post-golf luncheon.
The morning started off with breakfast followed by a round of golf beginning at 8:30 a.m. After the tournament, the day concluded with a luncheon, an auction and an awards presentation.
