Providence College Athletics announced today (Aug. 8) it is holding a contest to increase Facebook fans that includes season ticket giveaways.
Fans who “like” the Friar Faithful Facebook page (the official page of Providence College Athletics) will have the opportunity to enter to win 2013-14 season tickets for either men’s basketball or men’s ice hockey. The contest begins Thursday, August 8 and will conclude on Tuesday, August 27. Two lucky winners will be chosen. One fan will receive 2013-14 men’s basketball season tickets and the other fan will receive 2013-14 men’s ice hockey season tickets.
Schneider Arena is undergoing an extensive renovation that is scheduled to be completed in September 2013. The updated arena will include seating upgrades, improvements to the press box, new locker rooms for both men’s and women’s ice hockey teams, a new video board scoreboard, and a number of other features.
