Truman Reed Joins Incoming Men's Hockey Class

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -

Providence College men’s hockey Head Coach Nate Leaman announced the addition of Truman Reed (Anchorage, Alaska) to the incoming class of players for the 2014-15 season.

Reed is a 6’2, 215-pound defenseman who played the 2013-14 season with the Youngtown Phantoms of the United States Hockey League (USHL). He played in 58 games for the Phantoms and notched eight assists. Prior to Youngstown, Reed played at Shattuck St. Mary’s. In his final two seasons at Shattuck, he scored 23 goals and added 44 assists for 67 points in 108 games.

Reed joins Alex Cromwell (McKinney, Texas), Logan Day (Seminole, Fla.), Robbie Hennessey (Garnet Valley, Pa.), Brian Pinho (North Andover, Mass.) and Jake Walman (Toronto, Ontario) to comprise the class of 2018.
