PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The Providence College men's hockey team will host the HOCKEY EAST best-of-three Quarterfinal Series at Schneider Arena on Friday, March 12, Saturday, March 13 and Sunday, March 14 (if necessary). All games will begin at 7:00 p.m..

The Friars (18-14-1), who have one regular-season game remaining on Sunday, March 7 at Northeastern, have clinched fourth place in the HOCKEY EAST standings with a 12-10-1 mark. The top four teams in league standings host the best-of-three Quarterfinal Series and the winners advance to the FleetCenter in Boston for the Semifinals and Finals on March 19-20.

PC will play the league's fifth-place finisher. The Friars will play either Boston University or Merrimack College in the Quarterfinals.

Tickets for the HOCKEY EAST Quarterfinals at Schneider Arena can be purchased Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the PC Ticket Office in Alumni Hall or by calling (401) 865-GOPC.
