Nine Friars from 2015-16 will participate in various NHL camps beginning this week.
18 former, current, and future Friars have been invited to NHL Development Camps this month.
Senior Brooks Behling earned the distinction for the fourth consecutive season.
Seven other team awards were announced at the season-ending banquet on Friday night.

2015-2016: Co-captain … appeared in all 38 games in the 2015-2016, scoring one goal and 15 assists for a total of 16 points … finished with a +12 rating … scored only goal of the season against Ohio State (Oct. 23) ... recorded two multi-point games this season against Boston College (Jan. 9) and Merrimack (March 11) … registered an assist in NCAA Tournament against Minnesota Duluth (March 25)… blocked 34 shots over the course of the season … inked a two-year entry level contract with the Montreal Canadiens (March 26) and signed an ATO with the St. John’s IceCaps (AHL) for the remainder of the season … earned the Ron Wilson Award as the team’s top defensive player for the second straight season.
