2012-13: Named the 2013 Derek Hines Unsung Hero Award Winner, as announced by the Hockey Commissioners Association (HCA) at the 2013 Frozen Four (4/12) ... Served as the Friar captain and played in all 38 games, totaling three goals and eight assists for 11 points ... Registered his first career point with a goal against Sacred Heart in his first career game with the Friars (10/12) ... Had a career-best two-assist night at UVM (11/2) in a 3-2 Providence victory ... Two of his three goals proved to be game winners, including the deciding goal in PC's 6-5 win at No. 3 UNH (1/19) - Providence's first win at the Whittemore Center since 2004 ... One of PC's key faceoff takers and penalty killers, he finished the year with 44 blocked shots to lead the team and finished with a .510 faceoff win percentage ... Named to the Hockey East All-Academic Team.
