Luke And The Friar Offense Leads Providence Past Miami, 7-5, In NCAA East Regional Semifinal

The Friars will face Denver tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. in the NCAA East Regional Final (ESPNU).

2015-16: Appeared in 37 games … recorded a career high eight points (0-8-8) and matched a career high +13 rating … notched his second career two-assist game against UConn (Feb. 12) … added assists on three game-winning goals this season: Bryan Lemos’ goal vs. Brown (Dec. 10), Brian Pinho’s goal against UConn (Feb. 12), and Garrett Gamez’s goal vs. Merrimack in the Hockey East Quarterfinals (March 12) … tied for third on the team with 41 blocked shots … recorded a season high +3 rating in a 4-3 win over Yale (Nov. 28).



2014-15: Played in 39 games, scoring a goals and adding a career-high nine assists for a career-best 10 points ... Tied for sixth on the team with a +13 plus-minus rating ... Tied for the team lead with 55 blocked shots ... Made his season debut at third-ranked North Dakota (Oct. 24-25) ... Notched an assist in each win over Colorado College as the Friars swept the Tigers (Jan. 3-4) ...
