Appeared in 30 games for the Friars … recorded three goals and six assists for nine points … recorded 60 shots on goal, including a career-high five at New Hampshire (1/28) … tallied first collegiate goal against Boston University (12/2) … also added goals in both games during a weekend sweep over UMass Lowell (1/20, 1/21) … notched assists against Northeastern (11/19), RIT (12/10), UConn (2/8), and UMass (2/24, 2/25, 3/4) … finished the season with a +2 rating … alternate captain for Team Finland at the 2017 IIHF World Junior Championships.

BEFORE PROVIDENCE: Will become the first native of Finland to appear in a game for the Friars ... appeared in the World Junior Evaluation Camp Tournament in July for Team Finland ... In 45 games with the Espoo Blues (Jr. A SM-Liiga) in 2015-16, he led the team with 28 goals and 38 assists ... took home gold with Team Finland at the 2016 World Junior Championships ...  In 2014-15, he notched 19 goals and 11 assists with the Blues while also claiming silver at the 2015 U18 World Junior Championships as team captain ... selected by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the second round (61st overall) of the 2016 NHL Draft on June 25.
