2016-2017: Team captain … recorded career-highs in goals (3), assists (17), and points (20) in just 28 games played … finished the season with a +12 rating and 53 shots on goal … ranked second on the team with 34 blocked shots … recorded six multi-point games, including a career-high three points on a goal and two assists against UMass in Game 2 of the Hockey East Opening Round (3/4) … also scored goals at Brown (10/30) and at New Hampshire (1/27) … posted two-assist games against St. Lawrence (10/22), Boston University (12/3), Yale (1/10), New Hampshire (1/28), and UMass (3/4).
2015-2016: Appeared in 36 games on the blue line … totaled career highs in goals (2), assists (11), and points (13) … recorded his first career goal that tied the game in the third period against Yale (Nov. 28) … career high six-game point streak from Feb. 19-March 12 (1-7-8) … boasted multi-point games against Notre Dame (Feb. 19) and UMass (Feb. 27) … added a power play goal against UMass (Feb. 27) … finished the season with a +17 rating and 42 blocked shots.
2014-15: Played in 32 games, including the final 15 games of the season, while registering a season-high six assists ... Recorded his first assist of the season in Providence's 5-1 win at Northeastern (Dec. 3) ... Added an assist in Providence's 4-1 win over UMass (Dec. 28) at the Catamount Cup ... Had an assist in Providence's 2-1 overtime loss at UMass (Feb. 21) ... Notched an assist in Providence's 5-2 win over Maine (Feb. 28) ... Monk was a team-best +6 in the Friars' weekend sweep of Maine (Feb. 27-28) ... Registered an assist in Providence's 4-1 win over Denver (March 29) to advance to the Frozen Four.
2013-14: Registered his first collegiate point with an assist in Providence's 3-2 win over Vermont (11/15) ... Had an assist in Providence's 5-4 win over UMass Lowell (1/24).
BEFORE PROVIDENCE: Played the 2012-13 season with West Kelowna (BCHL) ... Netted nine goals and 37 assists for 46 points ... Finished fourth in scoring among defenseman ... Named a 2012-13 BCHL Second Team All-Star ... In four seasons, played 177 career games, totaling 25 goals and 78 assists for 103 in the BCHL ... Other teams he played for included the Salmon Arm Silverbacks, the Surrey Eagles and the Cowichan Valley Capitals.
