NHL Development Camps have been ongoing throughout the month of July.
Nine Friars from 2015-16 will participate in various NHL camps beginning this week.
Gilmour becomes the ninth member of the 2015-16 Friars to sign a professional contract or try-out agreement.
The Friars earned their first ever share of the Hockey East regular season title on Saturday Night.
The Friars still remain in contention for a regular season Hockey East title entering the weekend.
