Six Friars Named to Men's Hockey East All-Academic Team
Steven Shamanski made the Hockey East All-Academic Team for a third consecutive season.

Men's Hockey Freshman Class Ranked Sixth In The Nation
The Friars are one of two Hockey East teams ranked in the top-six.
2012-13: Did not play in a game for the Friars ... Named to the Hockey East All-Academic Team.
BEFORE PROVIDENCE: Played for the Bonnyville Pontiacs of the AJHL last season ... Posted a .911 save percentage, a 2.53 goals against average and one assist in 41 games ... Received the Tim Bits Most Plays of the Game Award in 2011 ... Also played for the Swan Valley Stampeders of the MJHL in 2010-11 ... Attended William J.
