2014-15: Missed the season to fight Ewing's sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer ... Joined the team for several games throughout the season, including Providence's 10-1 win over UConn (2/7), which was "Drew Brown Night," a fundraiser coordinated by the Student Athlete Advisory Committee ... Joined the team for the NCAA Championship run ... Skated for the first time since his diagnosis at the TD Garden (Boston, Mass.) during the 2015 Frozen Four:
2013-14: Made his season debut against Boston University (11/2) and registered an assist ... Scored a goal in Providence's 3-2 Mayor's Cup win over Brown (11/30) ... Had a season-high two assists in a 5-4 come-from-behind win against UMass Lowell (1/24) ... Collected the lone assist on the Friar goal in the HE Semifinal game versus New Hampshire (3/21).

BEFORE PROVIDENCE: Played hockey and baseball at Kent School (Conn.) for two years ... Served as captain at Kent School as a senior and helped the team to consecutive Founders League titles and Avon Tournament crowns ... Led Kent School to the finals of the New England prep school tournament in 2011 ... Finished second on the team with 51 points (22 goals, 29 assists) in 27 games in 2010-11 ... Also played at Chelsea High School (Mich.) prior to Kent School ... Was team captain at Chelsea and was named Ann Arbor News Hockey Player of the Year ...
