The Friars usher in the 2015-16 campaign on Saturday night beginning at 7 p.m.
Both games of the series will be televised nationally on the NBC Sports Network.
Nick Saracino notched his first career hat trick and the Friars hosted Drew Brown Night at Schneider Arena.
Ross Mauermann and Brooks Behling scored for the Friars.
The Friars will play the Huskies at the XL Center in Hartford, Conn.
