What are your thoughts coming off the 92-57 victory over Central Connecticut?

I was very pleased with our defensive effort in the second half as we were able to open up the game. We also gained experience as we faced a team that changed defenses both in the full-court and half-court.

What are the challenges of playing 6 games in 13 days?

The main challenge of a stretch like the one we are in is balancing the need for practice time with having fresh legs for the duration of each game. We plan on ‘limiting’ the repetitions for the players that get extended minutes as our bench should benefit with the extra practice time.

What do you expect from Northeastern in tonight’s game?

Northeastern is a very talented team that has been road tested early in the year. Northeastern split their two road games with Southern Illinois and Utah State, both in contests that came down to the last play of the game. Southern Illinois and Utah State are two places that most teams would try to avoid in their non-conference scheduling, but credit Northeastern for being able to play well where there is a very favorable home-court advantage. The last two years our games with Northeastern have been very competitive as we have split with the road team winning both contests. I would expect one of our toughest games of the season as we prepare for the always challenging Big East schedule.
