Bryce Cotton Named College Sports Madness BIG EAST Men's Basketball Player Of The Week

    PROVIDENCE, R.I. - It was announced on Monday, Nov. 11 that senior guard Bryce Cotton (Tucson, Ariz.) has been named College Sports Madness BIG EAST Men’s Basketball Player Of The Week.

    Cotton earned the award as he scored a game-high 28 points and went 9-of-10 from the free throw line in the Friars’ 82-78 overtime win against Boston College on Nov. 8. Cotton played the entire 45 minutes, grabbed six rebounds and had four assists. Last year, Cotton led the BIG EAST in scoring at 18.3 ppg.

    The Friars play cross-town rival Brown on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center. The game is set to start at 7:00 p.m. and will air nationally on Fox Sports Net and locally on Cox Sports. For tickets, visit the tickets section of or call 401-865-GOPC.
