PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The Student Athlete Advisory Committees (SAAC) of Providence College and the University of Rhode Island announce a collaborative effort to fight hunger in Rhode Island at the PC/URI men's basketball game on December 6, 2008 at 2pm.

Attending fans and students are encouraged to participate by bringing canned goods to the game at the Dunkin' Donuts Center.

All items collected will benefit the Rhode Island Food Bank and The Johnny Cake Center.
