    PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College Athletic Department is excited to announce upcoming promotions at the Friar men's basketball games.

    For the season opener on Saturday, November 10 when the Friars host NJIT at 2:00 p.m. the Student Athletes want your help in giving back to those in need this Holiday season. Please bring a canned food item to support the Rhode Island Food Bank's Holiday Food Drive. For your generosity Providence College and Webster Bank will give you two tickets to a future Friar game!

    When the Friars host in-state opponent Bryant on Monday, November 12, every fan will receive a schedule key tag that includes one schedule for the wallet and two for the key chain! Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.

    Santa will make a visit to the Dunkin' Donuts Center and will be collecting Toys for the Friar Toy Drive on Friday, November 23 as the team hosts Fairfiled University at 7:00 p.m. Bring a toy and the family and get your picture taken with Santa and the Friar to show your Friar spirit on your Christmas Cards.

    As you recover from your holiday shopping, return to the Dunk' on Tuesday, November 27 and receive a schedule magnet for your refrigerator when the Friars host Holy Cross at 7:00 p.m.

    On Saturday, December 1, the Friars will host Mississippi State in the BIG EAST / SEC Challenge. The first 3,000 Friar fans through the turnstiles will receive a Friar Wristband so you can show your Friar pride! Tip-off is at noon.

    Get your official team poster when the Friars host Colgate on Tuesday, December 18 at 7:00 p.m. Santa will be at the game to spread a last bit of Holiday Cheer and collecting last minute Toys for the Friar Toy Drive.

    Join us on Saturday, January 19 at 4:00 p.m. as the first 3,000 people through the turnstiles at the Dunkin' Donuts Center will receive a Supercuts Friar Key Chain.

    Join us in supporting the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation and the fight against Breast Cancer. Wear pink when the Friars host Cincinnati on Wednesday, February 6 at 7:00 p.m. for the Friars PINK OUT game. Donations will be collected at the door to benefit the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation.

     

     

    On Tuesday, February 22 the fan favorite Lil Phunk will be performing at halftime when the Friars host Pittsburgh at 7:00 p.m.

    Marshon Brooks Bobblehead Night will take place when the Friars host St. John's on Saturday, March 2.The first 2,000 fans will receive an exclusive Marshon Brooks Bobblehead. Game time is 8:00 p.m. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. Get there early to make sure you are one of the first 2,000 fans through the turnstiles. Marshon Brooks Bobblehead Night is sponsored by Audi Warwick.

    Lastly, celebrate Senior Day and look forward to the spring with our Friar Baseball Hat giveaway on Tuesday, March 5, when the Friars host Seton Hall at 9:00 p.m. The first 2,000 fans will receive a Friar Baseball Hat. Friar hat night is sponsored by Cox Sports and Cat Country. Don't miss the final home game of the season.

    Friar fans help us BLACK OUT THE DUNK. Wear your favorite BLACK Providence College shirt to every game this season, especially the games against URI on Thursday, December 6, Syracuse on Wednesday, January 9, UConn on Thursday, January 31 and Notre Dame on Saturday, February 16.
