Men's Basketball Players Austin And Bullock Suspended

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - It was announced today that Providence College freshmen basketball players Brandon Austin (Philadelphia, Pa.) and Rodney Bullock (Hampton, Va.) have been suspended from game action indefinitely for not upholding their responsibilities as student-athletes.

"We hold our student-athletes to very high standards," Providence College Men's Basketball Coach Ed Cooley said. "We are disappointed in some of the choices that Brandon and Rodney have made. Due to this, we have decided to suspend them indefinitely from any game action."

The Friars will open the season on Friday, November 8 versus Boston College at the Dunkin' Donuts Center at 6 p.m.
