Providence College Head Coach Ed Cooley's "Welcome Home Party" Set for November 12

    PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Providence College men’s basketball will open its regular season on November 12 against the Fairleigh Dickinson University Knights at 2 p.m. at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, R.I. This game marks Head Coach Ed Cooley’s first regular-season game for the Friars and has been dubbed his “Welcome Home Party.”

    Several promotions will be available for this game. Fans who bring a canned good to benefit the Rhode Island Community Food Bank’s Holiday Meal Drive will receive a voucher for a ticket to a future men’s basketball game. Also, fans who bring their ticket stubs from the men’s basketball game to the Providence College men’s hockey game against Vermont at Schneider Arena at 7 p.m. will receive two tickets for the price of one.

    Public safety officials will be recognized for their efforts during the game. Public safety officials and their families will receive special ticket pricing if they order their tickets online at the Ticket Center at
