Men's Basketball Announces BIG EAST Opponents for 2012-13

    PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Providence College announced its 18-game BIG EAST men's basketball home-and away-opponent schedule on Thursday, June 28. The Friars will face 10 opponents once and four teams twice. All BIG EAST Conference games will be televised by CBS Sports, the ESPN family of networks and ESPN Regional Television.

    Providence will play Connecticut, Seton Hall, Syracuse and Villanova at home and on the road in 2012-13. The Friars also will host BIG EAST rivals Cincinnati, DePaul, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh and St. John's at the Dunkin' Donuts Center.

    In addition to playing at Connecticut, Seton Hall, Syracuse and Villanova, the Friars also will travel to Georgetown, Louisville, Marquette, Rutgers and USF.

    Dates and times for all the Friar men's basketball games will be released in the fall.
