PROVIDENCE, R.I. - On Sunday, May 18, 962 undergraduate degrees were handed out to Providence College students during the school's commencement ceremonies. Five of those 962 were distributed to Providence College men's basketball players. Seniors Ted Bancroft (Marion, Mass.) - Accountancy, Kadeem Batts (Boston, Mass.) - General Studies, Bryce Cotton (Tucson, Ariz.) - Sociology, Lee Goldsbrough (Newcastle, England) - Sociology, and Brice Kofane(Yaounde, Cameroon) - Management, all earned their diplomas after spending their college careers at Providence College.

Head Coach Ed Cooley, who was hired on March 22, 2011, coached all five of the student-athletes for three years and saw this class capture a BIG EAST Championship and advance to the NCAA Tournament in 2014 and advance to the NIT Quarterfinals in 2012.

Cooley and the Friars take great pride in their academic success. In the most recent NCAA APR info released earlier this month, the men's basketball program had a perfect single-year APR score of 1,000 for 2012-13.
