Future Friars Ricardo Ledo And Kris Dunn Named Jordan All-Americans

    PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Two of Providence College men's basketball Head Coach Ed Cooley's recruits for the upcoming 2012-13 season have been named Jordan All-Americans. Kris Dunn (New London, Conn.) and Ricardo Ledo (Providence, R.I.) will play for the East team in the Jordan Brand Classic. These two help make up a recruiting class for the Friars which is ranked sixth in the nation according to ESPN.com.

    This year's Jordan Brand Classic will take place on April 14 at 7:00 p.m. on ESPN when East meets West. Of the 20 athletes selected, 17 are in the top 25 of the ESPNU 100 recruits. Ledo and Dunn are ranked No. 21 and No. 23, respectively. Seven of the athletes will play for colleges or universities that are currently ranked in the top 10 nationally.

    Of the 10 schools represented by recruits on the list, Providence College is one of only four that has more than one athlete playing. North Carolina, Arizona and Kentucky each have three recruits named Jordan All-Americans.
