Day #1: NCAA Men's Basketball Championship First And Second Rounds

The Providence College men’s basketball team kicked off the 2018 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship First and Second Rounds with an open practice session and media availability on Thursday, March 15 at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, N.C.

Rodney Bullock, Kyron Cartwright, Alpha Diallo, Jalen Lindsey and Nate Watson each participated in the press conference designated for student-athletes, while Ed Cooley took to the dais shortly after for his media session.

Upon conclusion of the program’s media obligations, they took the court at the Spectrum Center for a 40-minute practice, which was open to the general public.

The Friars, who are making a program record fifth-consecutive appearance at the NCAA Championship, will face Texas A&M in the First Round on Friday, March 16. Tip-off is slated for 12:15 p.m., and the game will be televised on CBS.
