The Providence College men’s basketball team will be honoring local military members, veterans, and their families at the game against St. John’s on Sat., March 2 game at 8:00 p.m. Entitled “Armed Forces Appreciation Night – Standing Together”, the purpose of the evening is to thank local Rhode Island military members, their families, and veterans for all they have done.
Recognitions will be made throughout the game highlighting honored members from different groups, such as Rhode Island National Guard, the Family Assistance Center, the Rhode Island House of Veteran Affairs, the Naval Station in Newport along with others.
Military members, their families, and veterans are offered special discounted tickets for the game. Tickets start as low as $8.
Fans are encouraged to come to the game in support of our military members. A portion of each ticket purchased using the promo code “USA” will be donated back to the Rhode Island Military Family Programs.
