    ANAHEIM, Calif. -- The Friars (4-2) went on a 10-0 run over the last 3:15 of the game to overcome a five point hole and earn the 67-62 win over Charlotte (1-5) in their second game of the 76 Classic in Anaheim Calif. on Friday, November 28.

    The Friars were torched in the first half by some hot shooting of Charlotte's RaShad Coleman. Coleman registered all of his game-high 19 points in the first 20 minutes of action. Senior Randall Hanke paced the Friars who struggled offensively with five points in the first half.

    In the second half, PC worked the ball inside and stepped up its defense to outscore the 49ers, 43-28. The Friars registered 24 points in the paint in the second half and forced Charlotte to make 13 turnovers, including three in the final 1:33 of the contest.

    Senior Weyinmi Efejuku recorded all 12 of his points in the second half. Senior Jon Kale and sophomore Marshon Brooks each added 12 points for the Friars. Geoff McDermott hit three key free throws in the final 16 seconds to help seal the win. He finished with five points and a game-high eight rebounds.

    The Friars will return to action on Sunday, November 30 in their final game of the 76 Classic versus Saint Mary's College at 5:30 EST on ESPNU.
