Men's Basketball Defeated At Georgetown, 74-65

    WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Providence College men's basketball team was defeated at Georgetown, 74-65, on Wednesday, Jan. 16. For the Friars it was their fourth loss in league action this season.

    Junior Bryce Cotton led the Friars with a game-high 21 points. The Friars trailed by 22 points with 19 minutes remaining. However, the team clawed back and got within seven with 1:29 to go, but could not get any close the gap anymore over the remainder of the game.

    The Friars will return to action on Saturday at 4 p.m. versus Villanova at the Dunkin' Donuts Center. Tickets can be purchased at Friars.com.
